2009 saw God bringing the GodSpeaks.com ministry a new adventure- Nascar Racing! That's right! Through a series of events coordinated by our loving Father, an opportunity was presented for us to sponsor an up and coming driver by the name of Blake Koch in the 2009 Camping World West Racing Series.
Now, you might think, "Hey GodSpeaks!....NASCAR RACING???" And we would say that that is exactly what others said when we started doing billboards! And what is the sponsorship of a race car but a billboard on wheels...a very FAST billboard on wheels!
It goes without saying that we wouldn't have undertaken such an endeavour without alot of prayerful consideration. Our confirmation to move foward with the outreach came when we met Blake- a polite, quiet young man whose love for the Lord quickly became apparent. As he stated to us, "I don't know how anyone can get behind the wheel of one of these vehicles and not want to know Jesus first!"
Though GodSpeaks.com is no longer an official sponsor of Blake or the #21 car, we ask that you keep Blake and his race team in your prayers as they continue to share their faith and transform lives in the world of NASCAR racing.
